The AE EM40 is designed to replace the original Sargent interface unit, managing communication between the vehicle and Sargent electrical systems. Earlier EM40 units have a known weakness where electrical connections can overheat, usually during travel when the refrigerator is powered from the vehicle’s 12V supply and current demand is at its highest.

The Apuljack replacement PCB is engineered for high-current performance, using reinforced tracking and heavy-duty connectors. Unlike the original 20A-rated pins that are susceptible to burnout, the WAGO™ connectors deliver an impressive 76A current capacity.
